Renewal Covenant Church — arriving 2026
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" ~2 Corinthians 5:17
Our Vision: Joining Jesus in the renewal of all things for the glory of God.
Our Mission: We invite people to know God, grow together, and follow Jesus as agents of renewal and reconciliation.
Our Values
AUTHENTIC WORSHIP | We gather as one body seeking to bring honoring worship to God by worshiping in spirit and in truth with both diversity and depth. Centered on God rather than personal preferences or performance, we commit to shaping our lives around Scripture through rhythms of reading, reflection, sung truth, and the sacraments as we rehearse the Story of redemption together in our homes and gathered worship.
FAITHFUL FORMATION | We engage in faithful formation through service and sacrifice, practicing prayer, generosity, service, and hospitality as daily habits that grow Christlike character. Honoring the Imago Dei through hospitable belonging, we celebrate the many parts of Christ’s Body by welcoming and empowering women and men, children and elders, and those with special needs or diverse backgrounds. We respond to suffering with presence, prayer, and tangible care, seeking to reflect the mercy of Christ, while pursuing reconciliation, speaking truth in love, and practicing forgiveness—choosing people over comfort and integrity over ease.
GENEROUS LIVING | We practice generous living by stewarding our time, resources, gifts, and homes for the good of others and the glory of God. Recognizing that all we have is received by grace, we seek to live with simplicity, gratitude, and open-handed compassion toward our neighbors and one another. We share joyfully, give sacrificially, and serve faithfully, trusting that God uses ordinary acts of generosity to cultivate belonging, meet tangible needs, and bear witness to the abundance of His Kingdom.
GOSPEL HOSPITALITY | We engage with our community through gospel hospitality, being present in our neighborhoods and sharing our time and resources to strengthen relationships, nurture the common good, and embody the love of Jesus. As people who bear and share our testimony, we carry the Story of God’s grace through both our words and our lives, faithfully bringing the hope of the Gospel into spaces where those who do not yet know Jesus can encounter Him.

Our team

Travis Dahlke
Travis is a gifted problem-solver with a mind for data and a heart for people. With a background in data integration and a deep love for the Church and serving as a Stephen Minister, he brings both technical expertise and a pastoral care to his work. Known for his empathy and kindness, Travis approaches ministry with a desire to listen well, encourage others, and help them grow. When he’s not working on thoughtful solutions to support the Church’s mission, you will likely find him working on his family's crop and beef farm. Travis also loves teaching and equipping others, using his organizational and analytical strengths to create thoughtful, effective solutions that serve the Church’s mission.
A native of this area, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, and completed his seminary training at Bethel Seminary. Travis' heart is to see the body of Christ flourish—working together with grace, purpose, and joy.

Julia Dahlke
Julia has a heart for helping people draw near to God through worship that is both Spirit-led and grounded in Scripture. She loves creating spaces where God’s presence is welcomed and people are invited to respond with honesty and joy. When she’s not leading worship or mentoring others, you’ll probably find her savoring a strong cup of coffee in the quiet of the morning or diving into some creative project—because she believes life with God is meant to be full of wonder and imagination. With years of experience in both church and educational settings, Julia approaches ministry with a shepherd’s heart and a love for discipling others. She’s passionate about seeing worship overflow beyond Sunday gatherings—bringing the hope and beauty of God’s Kingdom into everyday life.
Julia received her Bachelor of Arts at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, and completed her Master of Divinity degree at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.
Fundraiser
We’ve been building something small and meaningful—a community shaped by presence, honesty, and real relationship.
As part of that, we created a simple fundraiser: a set of handmade earrings. They’re nothing flashy—just a small, tangible way to support what God is growing here.
If it resonates with you and you’d like to be part of it, you can find them here:
And if not, that’s truly okay—your encouragement and prayers mean just as much to us.
